Co-founder, CEO and Digital Marketing Expert
My name is Zach Thompson, and I am the co-founder and CEO of MediaSmack. I oversee the strategic vision and growth of MediaSmack, our clients and staff. I take a hands-on approach in leading the company, and I like to be involved with client strategy, data analysis and solving complex and technical SEO issues. I’m focused on value propositions and helping law firms and businesses grow online and develop a competitive marketing advantage.
Why MediaSmack?
For 15 years, I have been developing my expertise in digital marketing and brand development. through my experience at multiple Fortune 500 companies. And before co-founding MediaSmack, I worked at LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell.
Working in legal marketing sales, I was interacting with clients on a daily basis. This allowed me to see and analyze problems within the business firsthand. I wanted to feel good about the services I was selling, but I didn’t. I was tired of showing up for sales calls to find out that work had not been completed. I would sit and build backlinks for my clients during these calls.
I co-founded MediaSmack in 2013 because I knew that we could provide personalized digital marketing services to our clients and feel good about it. Our intention is to truly earn our clients’ business every day. Since then, we have become an award-winning, multimillion dollar company.

My Interests
Outside of work, I spend time with my wife and three kids and give back to my local community in TX. Coaching and mentoring children is so important, so I spend a lot of my free time working with kids. I coach football, basketball and track for both my sons and daughter’s teams. I am a member of the local school board and a board member for a youth sports organization. I also enjoy fishing with my sons and daughter, playing golf and boating. Oh, and go Raiders!
