SEO Manager
We are looking for a full-time SEO Manager in the Frisco, Texas area to oversee our SEO strategists in increasing and maintaining website placement for our clients with a focus on user experience and SEO best practices. - Oversee and manage a team of (approximately) 5 digital marketing strategists who recurrently work on (approximately) 100 clients each month while also working with other department teams to make sure we can complete a project on-time and on-budget.
- Provide any necessary training and support to help the team thrive, as well as to manage time tracking and to maintain accountability. It may also include assisting team members with day-to-day tasks, as needed.
- Oversee management, tracking, analysis and reporting of website performance for clients.
Coordinate and communicate with the heads of other departments as well as the President and CEO. - Confer with the SEO team to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose solutions.
- Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties.
Meet deadlines set by the team, including milestones along a project’s development.
Review reports to measure productivity and to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement. - Establish and implement departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures.
Engage in high-level business and strategy discussions, both with the internal team and with clients. - Stay up-to-date with SEO industry trends and changes; identify opportunities for marketing growth for clients and MediaSmack itself.
- Speak to clients, when necessary, and provide excellent customer service.
Communicate internally with team members about your projects.
Google’s best practices for SEO are of the utmost importance.
- Must be Frisco-based. This is a semi-remote position, but it does require coming to our Frisco office weekly and our Austin, Texas office quarterly. Must be willing and able to travel to Austin for a few days at a time. This position is expected to require approximately 15% travel.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, advertising, English or related field.
3 years minimum experience in digital marketing and content creation. - Experience managing a digital marketing team.
- Familiarity with SEO tools like Moz, Ahrefs, Spyfu, Agency Analytics, Google Trends, Yext, Yoast and/or similar tools.
- Excellent Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Google Tag Manager skills.
- Expert-level knowledge of onsite, offsite and technical SEO strategies, including implementation and reporting.
- Ability to explain SEO strategy in plain English to staff and clients.
- Working knowledge of WordPress.
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Google Ads/PPC is a plus.
- Familiarity with Nutshell and/or ZenDesk is a plus.
- Experience with legal marketing is a plus.

SEO Strategist

Account Manager
We are hiring full-time Account Managers in the Frisco, Texas area. As the main point of contact between MediaSmack and our clients, an Account Manager focuses on providing high-quality customer satisfaction.
